Have an event, class, workshop or gathering you're ready to bring to life? Book the Hub and run the show!
As a Hub Host, you plan and run your event, manage your own registration and bring the supplies or materials you need. We'll provide the space and help you spread the word through our Creative Hub calendar, in-store community board and Painted Door social media promotional opportunities.
What's Included
The Hub comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests and comes ready for you to make it your own.
Tables + chairs for up to 16
Full kitchen + washroom
Complimentary Wi-Fi
Smart TV for presentations, videos + screen sharing
Complimentary coffee + tea for adult gatherings
Convenient parking + private Hub entrance
The space can be arranged to suit hands-on workshops, classes, meetings and gatherings.
Hub Rental Rates
2-hour minimum booking
2 hours = $60/hour
3–5 hours = $55/hour
6–7 hours = $50/hour
8–12 hours = $400 flat day rate
The day rate includes up to 12 consecutive hours of Hub access within one calendar day.
Before You Book
Payment is collected when you submit your booking. Once we've reviewed the details, we'll send you the Hub Host Agreement. Nothing scary, just all the boring little details and housekeeping stuff we didn't want to make you read here!
All bookings are subject to review and approval by the Painted Door Creative Hub. We want to make sure each event is a good fit for the space and that we can accommodate what you have planned.
In the rare case that we're unable to approve or accommodate your booking, we'll contact you and provide a full refund of your booking fee.
Public events may also be featured on our online and in-store Creative Hub calendars, community board and Painted Door social media, with a link to your registration page or event information.
Want to Plan Something Recurring?
Planning a weekly class, club, meeting or gathering? Special rates are available for Hub Hosts booking the same time each week in 4, 6 or 8-week sessions.
Recurring bookings may include 1-hour sessions and can be renewed for another session, subject to availability.

From time to time, we bring in makers, instructors and other creative folks as paid Guest Hosts for Painted Door Creative Hub programming.
You bring the idea and expertise, and we take care of the registration, promotion and materials. You come in, share what you do best and we pay you to host the class.
