Calling all young makers!

The After School Makers' Club is a six-week creative program where kids can explore, create and try something new. Led by Finn from the Painted Door Creative Hub, each session features a carefully curated collection of hands-on projects and craft kits from some of our favourite Canadian makers.

Over six weeks, your young maker will explore a variety of materials and creative techniques while working on five different projects. They might paint, sculpt, stitch, build, fold, design and more!

Some projects can be completed in one class, while larger projects may be worked on over multiple weeks. Everyone creates at their own pace, so makers who finish early will have projects they can return to and continue working on.

And because creativity after school can work up an appetite, we'll have a light, individually packaged snack and water waiting for our makers each week.

Their Own Maker Space

Each child will have their own project bin at the Hub for the full six-week session. Works-in-progress and project materials can stay safely tucked away between classes, ready for the following week.

Pictures are examples of projects we will work on, may not be exactly as shown.

At the end of the session, we'll pack up all of their creations and remaining project materials to take home so they can keep creating.
